Black Camo Monogram Shorts
On May 1st, 2021, I decided to do 300/200/100 and ride the Air Dyne bike every day. While wearing a 20lbs weight vest. I had about 2-3 weeks of some prep work prior so I wasn’t going in unprepared. But on that day, I was 100000% tired of how I felt, where I was going. I was done with any stupid excuses about not being able to train with fury. Even if these excuses were absolutely valid.
The focus was so insane that NOTHING could have talked me out of this. I was insanely sore the first week. The first month my legs would shake so bad in the morning that I would stand up out of bed and immediately fall back onto it. This wasn’t me being sore – it was my legs being that tired.
At no point, even when I struggled to walk to take a morning piss, did I regret, want to compromise or even question any part of this training. In my mind, nothing was better or even remotely close to being as awesome as daily weight vest work.
Any questions or exercise substitutions were looked at with disgust.
“What about KB work?” No way!
“Can I do rows instead?” Horrible idea.
It was 300/200/100 and the AirDyne, with the vest, every day – no soreness, injury or exhaustion could dampen my zeal. The commitment was insane. More importantly, and this is the key, my belief in what I was doing was uncompromising. I was doing the best thing in the world.
This non-negotiable attitude has been the cornerstone of every goal I've ever accomplished.
Note: The shorts are awesome. This is what I wear when I do all my weight vest training.
