It was time for a change.
A couple years ago, my training felt boring and uninspired. I needed a new challenge; something that kept my teeth sharp. On May 1st, 2020 I made the commitment to only train with a weight vest for 30 days. Squats, push-ups, pull-ups/chin-ups - twice a day, every single day.
A 30 day challenge turned into my new training obsession.
I called it WALRUS training; the fatter, gross cousin of the Navy SeAL. I anointed myself a Suburban Commando; able to take on any physical task any middle age man might be asked to do.
In short, WALRUS training is full-body weight vest training that can be as creative as you want it to be. Besides the basics of squats, push-ups, dips, chin-ups/pull-ups it also can include sleds, ropes and hills at anytime. Put on a 20lbs vest and build your body and spirit.
